FILAMENT-Oss allows obtaining multidirectional and customized interconnected porous structure with a specific consistence.

 

FILAMENT-Oss has a 100% customized composition. The PLA – inorganic phase ratio can be varied according to the customers’ needs, achieving up to 45 vol.% of inorganic phase.

 

FILAMENT-Oss:

  • Replaces the pastes usually applied for bone regeneration.
  • Has in-vitro validated biodegradation and bioactivity.
  • Has improved hydrophilic properties, i.e. it could be impregnated in the patient plasma prior to implantation.
  • Has a sinterable variant that can lead to a 100% inorganic part after proper thermal treatment. 
  • Can be sterilized by UV-light.

Characteristics

  • Compositions: up to 50 vol.% of inorganic charge (HA, β-TCP, Mg, Ti, etc.)
  • Diameter: 1.75 mm (±0.05 mm)
  • Quantity: from 5 g to higher batches
  • Print Temperature: 150-170°C

 

Instructions for use:

    1. We recommend that you heat up the filament as the instructions indicate to facilitate your priting experience.
    2. Insert the filament into the 3D printer.
    3. Heat the printer up to the reference temperature and drive motor to start the filament flow.
    4. Once the printing is finished, keep the filament in a dry place and inside the bag. Try to keep it away from UV light.
