FILAMENT-Eco

Printable photo & electroactive materials for catalyzers and electrodes.

Product Features

FILAMENT-Eco allows to obtain multidirectional and customized interconnected structures with specific photocatalytic and electrochemical activity, with porosity and exposed specific surface area that can be tailored to the customers’ needs.

FILAMENT-Eco can be formulated as a 100% customized composition with a great content of inorganic particles (TiO2, CuO, ZnO, graphene or other carbonaceous species). The PLA-functional phase ratio can be varied according to user requirements, achieving up to 15 vol.% (for nanometric particle size) and up to 40 vol.% (for micrometric particle size).

FILAMENT-Eco:

  • Uses nanoparticles as inorganic loads.
  • Can print conductive 3D patterns and 3D self-supported pieces.
  • Produces photoactive filters/membranes  (Photocatalytic reactor, Water splitting systems, hydrogen production, De-NOx activity, etc.)
  • Produces electrodes for energy generation and storage devices. (Batteries, Supercapacitors, etc.)

Characteristics

  • Diameter: 1.75 mm (±0.05 mm)
  • Quantity: from 5 g to higher batches
  • Printing Temperature: 150-170°C

Instructions for use:

  1. We recommend that you heat up the filament as the instructions indicate to facilitate your priting experience.
  2. Insert the filament into the 3D printer.
  3. Heat the printer up to the reference temperature and drive motor to start the filament flow.
  4. Once the printing is finished, keep the filament in a dry place and inside the bag. Try to keep it away from UV light.

Storage Conditions:

  • Keep in a dry place
  • Protect from the direct sunlight
  • Store between 5°C – 30°C
