10 Jun FEco Graphite and FEco Graphene filaments reported to show exciting directional electrical conductivity after printed
In a research work of the printing characterization of our filaments FEco Graphite and FEco Graphene, researcher of the Institute for Ceramic and Glass have reported an oriented of the inorganic fillers during the extrusion process of the printing. This orientation allow a defined shaping of the outer structure of the electrodes but also let the design of completely different microstructures enhancing the electrochemical properties of the electrodes with superior control of the macrostructural design. In this paper the authors describe a complete thermal, mechanical and electrical characterization of the filaments and printed pieces. Showing that printed samples have a different electrical conductivity depending on the orientation of the printing head.
The paper has been published in open access in the most prestigious scientific journal devoted to Additive Manufacturing and is accessible in this link (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.addma.2023.103643)
