COLFEED4Print joins innovation in green hydrogen generation with Pablo Ortega Columbrans and the development of his Industrial PhD Project on 3D printing solutions for the energy sector (Ref. IND2022/IND-23603)

Since the beginning of December, we have been able to welcome our Junior Research Assistant Pablo Ortega Columbrans. He is a Higuer Chemical Engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) with more than two years of experience in 3D printing processes and modelling of functional 3D parts.

COLFEED4Print wants to be part of the decarbonisation of the industry and transport through the project entitled “Eco-efficient 3D printing of MultiMaterials with photo- & electrochemical activity for water treatment and the green H2 generation” (Ref. IND2022/IND-23603) that will have a duration of 3 years and will help COLFEED to contribute to innovation in the generation of hydrogen devices from renewable sources. Its development targets the reduction of time and costs in the prototyping of highly efficient photo-electrochemical materials using printing and multiprinting of ceramic filaments systems addressing challenges under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations General Assembly.

Once again, we would like to thank the Community of Madrid for funding the Project within the frame of the call for grants for Industrial Doctorates resolved by Order 3237/2022 of 28 October of the Vicepresident of the Ministry of Education and Universities, reference IND2022-IND-23603.
